Rector’s Scholarship 2018/2019 – deadline for submitting applications

Students will be able to apply for the Rector’s Scholarship via USOSweb from the beginning of October. We would like to remind you that in order to apply for this scholarship, you have to print the application from USOSweb, sign it and submit it to the Scholarship Committee, dean’s office or your faculty’s office. Only those students who will submit a paper application will be considered eligible for the Scholarship. As always, the deadline for submitting written applications is October 15th (Monday).

By 15th October you have to:

  • personally submit your application to the Scholarship Commitee/dean’s office/faculty’s office or
  • send your application by registered letter or
  • if you choose to send it by courier – it has to be delivered by 15.10.2018 or
  • if you choose to send it by registered letter from abroad – it has to be registered in Polish post office by 15.10.2018 or
  • if you choose to send it by unregistered letter – it has to be delivered by 15.10.2018

By its nature, Rector’s Scholarship is a competitive event and because of that the deadline is non-negotiable. It means that:
1. Only students who submit a paper application will be taken into account;
2. Only the achievements listed in the application by 15.10.2018 will be taken into account.

If you are part-time (extramural) student: if you won’t be in Warsaw before 15th October, make sure to send it by traditional mail on time.
If you decide to send your application by mail: please address it to your Scholarship Committee/dean’s office/faculty’s office, depending on who is responsible for collecting applications in your faculty. Please write down on the envelope that you are sending a Rector’s Scholarship application.

Should you have any further questions please contact us at oks [at] uw.edu.pl (in your message, please don’t forget to write your full name, student number, course and year of studies)
